On Beautiful Cardigan Bay
The following gallery of images are from a trip our family took along our local coastline on Cardigan Bay, one Monday in early September 2013.
On this trip we saw no sign of the many Dolphins who live in these waters, but then we knew it would be pot luck if we did. Click PLAY > to start.

One of Wales’s best kept secrets. You only know about this beach if you have been here. It rarely gets mentioned in travel guides because we are not in a well known tourist “hot spot”. Thank goodness we don’t have a Motorway within 50 miles. Just winding main roads through wooded hills and mountains from Carmarthen 30 miles away.
This vast un-spoilt and un-commercialised flat Sandy “Blue Flag” Beach is very popular in the summer.
But there is usually plenty of room for all.
We suggest you take a Windbreak in case the wind gets up.
Rock Pools at the southern end. Sand Dunes along the full length. Plenty of room for walking and riding. Popular with Power Kite Flyers when the tide is out. Dogs restricted to one part of the beach. Keep your dogs under control here.
